A Scheme of Counselling , Retraining and Redeployment (CRR) for separated employees of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) is under implementation by Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) from the year 2001-02. The objective and scope of the CRR scheme is to provide opportunities of Counselling, retraining and redeployment to the separated employees who are rendered surplus as a result of modernization, techonology  upgradation  and manpower restructuring in the PSEs. CRR Scheme is implemented by selected nodal agencies impart to VRS optees at Employees Assistance Centres  (EACs). During the year, Rs. 8.90 crore isallocated  for implementation of the Scheme.
